The wRemote-1500-ETH-CN has an Ethernet port.
You can get the data from the remote devices on this port using Modbus RTU/ASCII over TCP/IP or Modbus TCP.
The TCP port used for this feature is 10000. The Modbus type (RTU or ASCII) on this socket will be the same as the one configured on the serial port. Up to 8 simultaneous connections are allowed. It one connection is not used by two minutes it will be automatically closed.
The device is awaiting connection from Modbus TCP masters on port 502. It will convert the Modbus TCP query to Modbus serial before sending it to a remote device if necessary.

The concentrator will multiplex queries directed to the serial port of a remote device. Have in mind that the answer time will be multiplied when simultaneous queries occur.
If you are not using Modbus RTU/ASCII over TCP nor Modbus TCP you can use the concentrator's serial port as on the wRemote-1000-CN.
The serial port cannot be used simulateosuly with Modbus RTU/ASCII over TCP nor Modbus TCP.
In case you have to adjust the responde time out you should use the command console and send the command shown below.
