The wSerial devices allow the handling of inputs/outputs and remote serial ports through a wireless communication of 802.15.4, accessing them from point to multi-point, meaning that data entered in a serial manner in a "Concentrator" will be transmitted to all of the "Nodes" and the data entered in a "Node" will be sent only to a "Concentrator".
This allows the elimination of cables and the simplification of the installation process.
The purpose of this manual is to provide the instructions for installing and operating the wSerial equipment quickly and simply.
The wSerial is based on the assembly of a wireless network of mesh type according to the standard IEEE 802.15.4, for this it counts on the "Concentrator" in charge of forming the network and other "Nodes" that are connected to the same, with an ID number and replication increasing the scope.
The device functions basically like a Bus RS485 Wireless or point to multi-point Wireless.
