EtherNet/IP to Modbus Serial Converter

EtherNet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) is an industrial network protocol designed for real-time communication between devices in automation and industrial control environments. It is based on the widely used Ethernet standard, but optimized for industrial applications.

The EGW1-EIP-MB is a converter that enables communication between EtherNet/IP and Modbus Serial. This device allows an EtherNet/IP master to read from and write to Modbus serial slave registers.

As a Modbus serial master, the EGW1-EIP-MB collects data from slaves connected via its RS232/RS485/RS422 port and stores the acquired values in a data map with a capacity of up to 1000 words. At the same time, it operates as an EtherNet/IP slave, responding to queries from the EtherNet/IP master regarding this data map.
