Serial Port Mixer (RS232/485)

The SGW1-IA3-MIX is a communication multiplexer designed to operate over RS232/485 serial ports. This device enables the simultaneous connection of up to three querying devices, typically referred to as “Masters,” to a single device intended to be queried, commonly known as the “Slave.”

Each serial port on the SGW1-IA3-MIX is individually configurable, allowing for customization of Baud Rate, Data Bits, Parity, and Stop Bits to meet specific system requirements. The Slave device can not only respond to incoming queries but also transmit data simultaneously to all three Masters. This functionality significantly enhances efficiency in environments where multiple Masters require concurrent access to a single Slave device.
